Shocking footage shows man dragged off Dublin Bus and attacked on the street
One of the youths then hits him repeatedly over the head with an implement as his victim scrambles to his knees
Dublin Bus has confirmed that they are aware of an incident in which a person was attacked after he was dragged off a bus last week.
The attack that was recorded and shared online shows a man being set upon after he is pulled from a C2 Sandymount-bound bus last Thursday.
In the footage the man can be seen being dragged from the stationary vehicle by three youths.
As he screams, the man is pulled to the ground while his shorts appear to fall down around his ankles.
One of the youths then hits him repeatedly over the head with an implement as his victim scrambles to his knees.
Two men then then punch their victim to the face as he gets back onto his feet.

In the background shocked onlookers can be heard shouting while a car beeps its horn.
The incident is believed to have occurred in the Lucan area.
A Dublin Bus spokesperson said they could confirm that an incident took place and emergency services attended the scene.
A garda spokesperson said there were no reported incidents recorded on their system for the Lucan area at this time.
